These Terms of Service govern access to and use of this GuildProtect instance. Replace operator information, payment provider references, jurisdiction and contact details before public launch.
GuildProtect is provided as a Discord security, verification, backup and administration tool. It is not a guarantee that every malicious action, outage, Discord API limitation or data loss can be prevented.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using the bot, dashboard, verification flow, public profile, premium features or any GuildProtect-related service, you agree to these Terms.
If you act on behalf of a Discord server, community or organization, you confirm that you have authority to configure GuildProtect for that server.
2. Eligibility and Discord compliance
Users must comply with Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Terms and all applicable laws.
GuildProtect may only be used on servers where the bot has been invited by an authorized person and where the acting user has the necessary Discord and GuildProtect permissions.
3. Account security
Users are responsible for keeping their Discord account secure. Actions performed through an authenticated session may be treated as actions by that user.
Administrators should use strong Discord account security, two-factor authentication where possible and carefully assign GuildProtect admin ranks.
4. Security features and limitations
Anti-Nuke, whitelist, audit, guide, backup, restore and verification features depend on Discord API availability, permissions, role hierarchy and correct configuration.
GuildProtect can fail to act if permissions are missing, Discord denies an action, the bot role is too low, the server is unavailable, rate limits are reached or configuration is incorrect.
5. Backups and restore
Backups are intended to help restore roles, channels, categories and permission overwrites. Restore actions may delete, recreate or modify existing server structures.
Users and admins must review backup previews and understand the impact before restoring. The operator is not responsible for loss caused by incorrect backups, outdated backups, accidental restore or Discord limitations.
6. Verification and member restore
Verification uses Discord OAuth permissions, including guilds.join, to support later member restore. Users should verify only if they understand that GuildProtect may later add them to eligible servers connected to the verification owner.
Server owners and authorized administrators must not misuse restore features to spam, harass or add users to unrelated servers.
7. Public profiles, reports and moderation
Users may enable public profiles and, if eligible, custom profile URLs. Users are responsible for profile status text and selected visible guilds.
Profiles may be reported, blocked or moderated if they impersonate others, contain abusive content, violate Discord rules, violate law or harm GuildProtect's operation or reputation.
8. Premium and paid features
Premium may unlock additional limits or features. If payments are enabled later, pricing, renewal, cancellation, refund rules and taxes must be disclosed by the operator or payment provider before purchase.
Premium can expire, be revoked for abuse, be granted by admin rank or be disabled if payment fails or the operator ends the offering.
9. Admin panel and permissions
GuildProtect admins may receive permissions to view guilds, users, premium states, reports, public profile moderation, backups, verified members and admin logs.
Admins must use these permissions only for legitimate operation, support, security, moderation and abuse prevention. Unauthorized data access or misuse can lead to removal of access.
10. Prohibited use
You may not use GuildProtect to harass users, evade Discord enforcement, collect data without authorization, perform unauthorized moderation, attack Discord servers, distribute malware, bypass rate limits or violate law.
You may not attempt to exploit, reverse engineer hosted infrastructure, overload the service, tamper with logs or access data you are not authorized to access.
11. Availability and changes
GuildProtect may be updated, restarted, limited, suspended or discontinued at any time. Features may change as Discord APIs, permissions or requirements change.
The operator may restrict access to protect service stability, comply with law, respond to abuse or perform maintenance.
12. Disclaimer
GuildProtect is provided as-is to the extent permitted by law. No guarantee is made that the bot will prevent every nuke, restore every server perfectly, keep every token valid or operate without interruption.
Server owners should keep additional safety practices, staff controls, role hygiene and independent recovery plans.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, lost profits, server disruption, Discord API outages, misconfiguration, unauthorized Discord account access or user mistakes.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Termination
The operator may suspend or terminate access if users violate these Terms, abuse features, threaten security, violate Discord rules or create legal or operational risk.
Users may stop using GuildProtect by removing the bot from their server, disabling public features where available and requesting deletion from the operator.
15. Governing law and contact
The operator must add applicable governing law, venue and contact details before publishing this service publicly.
Questions about these Terms should be sent to the operator contact listed in the imprint or legal notice.
